WALKDEVOTION
The mornings walking for me ,is reflection,renewing,singing,speaking to God,asking forgiveness,asking for guidance,thanking for the day,the children,the grandchildren,sometimes its silence ,where the thoughts are Im not sure,its peaceful,that in itself is profound,and its very personal! Thanks!Often I think these moments are a Church to me ,is that so? It can be !

Canada the Gold World Champs 2015
The eye procedure went well and after 2 weeks ,the improvement is significant. Im very well pleased and it helps so much for driving,very happy with Dr Kwan ,he did a fine job! Some thoughts of this spring,The Alberta election rant is heading into high gear,,sure looks and feels like a huge percentage of Albertans ,are plain fed up with the dis honest freaks that have run this blue rite out of town.Will wait and see ,its happened before ,the polls are not always right,the truth of the matter is,maybe,just maybe its time for a change? I think so ,if the new government isnt performing,they than can be removed ,but,for over 40 years,time says its a changin,and we need it ,

A series of events which started in September and is on goin,although somewhat taperd off,,, I had to go out of town to a small hospital for a Colonoscopy,that alone is a bad enough thought,so I get there and greeted nicely as they were preping me for this intrusive,uncomfortable procedure, the nurse injected a small dose of sedative into the upper hand,to take the Feeling away,however,injection blew up a bubble under my skin,never even entered the blood stream,to late ,I was on my way to procedure room, there I met the Dr,,not a very pleasant one at that,very bad bedside manerisms and the like,,as the sedation was not really injected ,I was wide awake throughout this event,watched it all on the monitor as he was snippin the lil poulps off one by one,when this was over ,he said zero,no communication and sent home,,, have not heard from him since ,maybe good news ,anyway ,don't want to go there again,,,,,unto the computer world, found out the little toys don't like water,so I burnt one totally to a crisp ,this just after I bought a new one ,as a surge had melted one previously,so 2 new computers in a matter of weeks,ouch!!,my own mistake on the second, I won't be feeding water to another ,as far as I can help it ,anyway!,,,now on to the motor machines called cars ,vans and the like!!!!on two different occasions we have been told to do some preventive maintenance,,Garage A said the consequences could be severe, so they gave us the price, OK ,,, now went to Garage B,had them scope the vehicle,same diagnosis, do it soon, do it soon,B gave us a price,,,close to A,so thats seems ok,.more to come!now to the finish,we chose garage B ,and parts where ordred and work begun,3 days later,,clank noise ,all new parts ,warranty,new parts arrived ,clank gone but grinding,had new mechanic eyeball procedure and discovered ,one part was not genuine,had it replaced with way more expensive original part,yah,runnin normal,....this after 3 and a half months of dsress and agony,,Moral of this Story,Use Genuine parts,dont let them cheap out on after market parts! Garge owner ,mechanics and us,,learned a lesson!!!

10th Inning......Years back I did a radio show after some exciting fastball ,In the Inter-city league,the league was 3 teams from Regina,Moose Jaw and us,the Weyburn Canadians,this photo is a FlashbackFriday ,,,,,after a nine inning ball game ,we had a 10th inning show....

This is a take on some general items ,Nhl on Rogers.....this is somewhat a floundering idea,so many games on so many platforms,nothing to see here,more choices to flip through and I cannot,,get my own read, no identification,,cannot get the new voices,the new format,the glitz,where could you possibly spend over 4 million on a glass studio?whats with the suites,suites,,,the stand-ups ,sorry Geoge Stommmm,,,liked you better as a host of talk,however,GS will find his style and niche,he is a good man,,,the umpteen hockey insiders,what a degree of talk! ,all these brilliant minds dissecting this game for fodder of their own golden path to retirement,,somewhat giggly to watch,however,,,its not a comedy show,,the CBC did do a great job on Hockey,thats the point,change may have been a need ,but not a must,,it will take a while for the Rogers idea to find me,hopin that will be sooner than later,,,,,, now Toronto Maple Leafs,,if a core player is ,,lets say a 3-5 year NHL player,where is TML core fit into the elite teams,like ..,Mon.,LA.,Chi.,and oh yes Bos,?take Dion P,what pairing would he be-2 or 3?,,Phil K,what line? 2 at best,Nazeem K---3rd line?JVR would be a 2 line man,these guys are just not talented enough,although the best the Leafs have,what about Reimer and Bernnier, very good back-ups on any elite team,just not over the top to become elite,as of now anyways,some of these men perhaps need to be traded and build around Morgan Reilly,hes a kid in a mans game and its showing at times and let him grow into the core ,in a few years will be a core Leaf,unless Shanahan trades him,,I hope not,pls be patient,,,, now several weeks later,the Leafs are on a tear,,,why?what happened? Simple...the players took ownership of their game,players are the driving force behind the shift,,,the simple center ice salute issue ,did the trick,the players had enuff courage to bark back at the fans,they,together,took a stand..all the more power,,,now.Leafs management and coaches,let the players play thier game ,well done Leafs!

I watched the CMA show awhile back,,for an hour or so ..... maybe it was the Rock N Roll awards,Country Music has changed so much,the business of music has changed,we as viewers can watch or change the channel,,I did, yet I wanted to hear more ,is it really that rocky,,or am I to choosy? .... as far as I can tell and observe, today's Country is more and more of the same, for my liking to much drinking music,,its almost a gimme ,is that what sells? Im sure it does,big time,so many new artists popping up ,the Grand Ole Opry could never host them all,,,,,that is a good thing,,,,,,,learned that Garth Brooks is making a comeback,,,,that's good to,,Carrie Underwood and Greg Paisley,in the intro was about the only thing Country ,,,to my liking,,,maybe I like Folk,,,Folk Roots, have to find my genre,all over again,,give me a soft country sound ,bit of Bluegrass,gospel and Id be pleased.....man I'm dated ,Gooday to all!Next on my list,, the New Hockey package on TV......!

BELOW:Many years ago ,playing ball ,we had this team to play that hit the ball pretty good,the coach,catcher and I had a pre-game chat,...... the coach told us ,start and throw as normal ,if the game gets to dicy,start the safe pitch mode,, throw below the ankles....we kinda laughed and nervously agreed, catch said to me ,,,normal start ,if in trouble throw low and out,a weak spot for good hitters to get a hold of the ball,if they do hit it,,,,likely a grounder and very playable for an out.....as the game went on things were fine ,we were up one run,and half-way through the game,,one out and we committed an error,2 men on and one out,...the top of there line-up was due...time called ,Coach S,came and gave us the plan,throw drop balls and bring them below the ankles,.... I had to make a mental adjustment,then follow through physically to bring the pitch lower than normal,all in all we hoped that batters would fish for the ball ,maybe luck-out and get a big out....it happened,,no runs were scored and no humans got hurt.... a lesson ..you can deliver the pitch below the ankles,even tho the catcher had very sore toes...that happened to,,this was in the 70's ,not to long ago I chatted with the catch...this very topic came up!
